Romankiw
Brand Design
Est. 2021

A brief story
Romankiw is based on my last name. I designed the brand with only a logotype depicting my last name, meaning there is no icon for this brand.
Simple logos are generally more meaningful, and last over time. The logo needed to be flexible, and convey the brand to everyone who saw it. It invokes a certain familiarity and comfort.
The simplicity of the logo, and sincerity of the color palette are an extension of my personality, and a vision for the future of this brand.
Why build a brand?

Brand Systems
Romankiw as a brand encompasses all of the brand systems. A system is a subset of the Romankiw brand which shares the same values, but with a particular mission in mind
Romankiw Cinema is the most immersive home theater experience.
Romankiw Photography is the photography art collection.
Romankiw Edition is the collection of custom things I've made under the Romankiw brand.

Logo design
The logo is just a simple typeface. The font used in all brand applications is Proxima Nova. This font was chosen for is modularity, and availability. It is part of Adobe's font book, making it easy to use in Illustrator, Photoshop, and all other design applications.

Inspired by my experiences
I created this brand because I was inspired by companies effort to transform their business marketing and user experience models to live up to the digital age.
I've always had interest in how companies manage their digital assets and push their digital brands, so to explore that passion, I decided to create my own. My brand started with a logo. A simple word mark kerned for a modern aesthetic.
